I just love Doris Day! And…I don’t care what anyone says…Rock Hudson was soooooooooo handsome! So…being that I’m swamped with finishing up the details for the release of A Crimson Frost…I just thought I’d share this little clip from one of my favorite Doris Day and Rock Hudson movies, “Pillow Talk.” Whenever I watch this [...]

For about 175 years of my adolescent life (okay…it was only about 4), I had a die-hard crush on a boy named “Jake.” (A name has been changed to protect the not-so-innocent!) Being 3 years my senior, “Jake” was tall, cute and sort of mysteriously unobtainable. Know what I mean?
I first laid eyes on “Jake” [...]

Okay…just for fun! Which Colonel Brandon and Marianne do you prefer? Now…I adore Alan Rickman! I totally do! I think he was just the sweetest Colonel Brandon! So this is actually a very hard choice for me! However, I really love the newest Sense and Sensibility (BBC 2008)! And if I had to choose…I think…I [...]

“Make Believe” from the movie/musical “Showboat”….ahhhhh! You’ve heard me tell this story 100 times before (even in the Author’s Note of Dusty Britches)…about the hired hand we had when I was a little girl living on a dairy farm in Idaho…about how he would go out to the milking barn to start the milking at [...]

Okay! Okay! I’ll cave! So many of you have written to me asking my opinion of the “Twilight” movie…that I will confess…I liked the “first kiss” scene the best! Well…that scene, and the final scene…and the baseball scene ( I like the little bat-toss trick Jasper does!) . And to answer your questions about my [...]

A friend and I were in “Old Town” in downtown Albuquerque the other day. She was visiting from out-of-state and wanted to pick up a few pieces of jewelry for a couple of friends. As we meandered along the streets looking at the different items available from the artisans vending there…I smiled…for the delicate little [...]

Yes…it’s true! I have a reoccurring Keanu Reeves dream! About once a year or so I have the same Keanu Reeves dream. It goes something like this:
I’m at some Olympic Figure Skating training rink. Tons of famous ice skaters are there…though none of them are really real ice skaters…they’re sort of made up or something…just [...]
